What happened to TWA and their flights to Mexico City?
I noticed today at the airport there were no more TWA check-in counters.
Why did they ceased operations here in Mexico City? Is TWA still working at another Mexican resorts?

TWA stopped flying to MEX in March because of low demand, and also because of the lack of customs and immgration processing space at St. Louis Airport. TWA still flies to Cancun, and some other cities seasonally.
TW only operated one flight per day into MEX, with an MD-80, to St. Louis. The flight arrived late at night and departed early morning.

TWA operated to MEX from MSY and STL the MSY flight started in NYC and then continued to MSY and on to MEX. All service to MEX was discontinued. Seasonal and year round service still exists to several other destinations in Mexico

TW's MSY-MEX flight was discontinued because of poor loads.
TW still flys from STL, JFK, and EWR to CUN.
TW flies to Acapulco from STL
thats it, however, I would like to see a 3x daily TWA m80/757 service nonstop from JFK-MEX. That would make it. Also popular seasonal service from JFK to CUN should be very popular during the spring break time of the year. TW should upgrade that service to 762 and advertise it on college campuses in the NE.
