Apparently , we have started a FFP... I must have missed the memo on this one. It is apparently mileage based, which I don't particularly like on smaller carriers, but I guess we'll see...

Logical move on NK's part. Seems simple and inexpensive to implement. It can only help NK's cause. Now they need to get the airbus transition done so we can get some of our flights back...

all the md80's will be gone by Labor Day... you do get your 2nd FLL flight back though, don't you???

I agree it's a logical move, just not sure about the mileage aspect of it.

we have it back starting tomorrow through the end of April (4 days a week anyway). The RSW and the afternoon FLL go away as of May 1st. The RSW re-appears in the schedules in early November - but no sign of the 2nd FLL. I can't imagine it wouldn't come back once you guys have the aircraft available since all 3 Florida flights were packed from day 1 (less so much last fall - but that's normal). Unless the yeilds were bad that is. The avergae fares seem comparible with other stations of similar stage length, so I'd say that shouldn't be an issue either...

It was announced to the employees about a week ago and was in the Spirit Today newsletter a few days ago. Although they said not to discuss it with pax because it wasnt going to be announced until the 28th. I think its a good thing. About time if you ask me

They should be annoucing 3-5 new cities by summer. Mexico City is one, most likely. I've also been hearing San Jose, Freeport, and Aruba.

San Jose has been rumored for a long time. I havent heard about Freeport but Aruba wouldnt surprise me

I believe that 1 or 2 will be domestic to pick up feeder traffic for the Caribbean. I'm hoping for IND since FL is leaving
