Where do the AC Jazz CRJ705 fit in? Are they going in at the same time as the E-jets or are they already flying with PTVs working?

And where do the 763's appear in this picture? I believe AC are doing a huge reno on all their long-haul 763's.

I'll try and remember this thread at the end of the month. I've got a flight from YUL-YYZ booked on one of the E90s.

Narrowbody Airbus' start in April, 763 fleet starts in May.

So how is it peforming? Do you like it better compared to mainline or the Live TV on Westjet? Its capabilities are supposed to be excellent (though no live programming).

The fact that the CRJ705 flies on routes exceeding 3.0 hours (YYZ-IAH, YYC-IAH), it's gonna be a great time passer.

As for the AVOD on the Embraer's...the customers are loving it.

Do we know the schedule for the 767's being equipped with IFE? Are the A330/340's going to get it too even though they will eventually be phased out?

Non of the A340 will get the cabin upgrade, the A330's will since they won't be leaving for at least 5-8 years, the first A340 should be leaving the fleet Q3-Q4 2007.

But seriously, the narrowbody airbus start in April, the 767-300 start in May and the 767-200 in sept.

The AVOD on the 175 is awesome! I just did a trip that involved two of those models, and will put up a report in the next couple of days, complete with pictures of the AVOD. Love it!

The last I herd it that first B773ER will arrive in March'2007 and the first A340 will depart after the 2007 summer season.

I would be curious to see how AC could let go of any A340 before new wide-bodies arrive. As Im sure you know, AC is have big problems with the lack of large capacity long haul aircraft on its Asian and South American operations.

There is a rumor that AC is trying to get earlier delivery spots for the T7s, but that could be just a rumor.

From all the information I have...Q1 2007 will see 3 x 773ER's arrive. Summer is the busiest time, and winter always is the slowest. As a result, AC will dump an A340 or two in Q4 2006 and then get the 3 x 773ER's in March of 2007. Four other 772LR's will join the fleet during 2007. This will allow AC to grow whilst beginning to reduce their fleet size, and reduce their leasing costs.

James

PS Sebring will probably pop his head in here and add a few more comments.
