I came accross some photographs of Vijay Mallya (Chairman of Kingfisher Airlines) advertising his airline. I don't know if it is just me, but the photographs really reminded me of Sir Richard Branson and the way he promotes Virgin Atlantic. From what I've read about Mr Mallya (apparently he is the "King of the good times") he seems similar to SRB in terms of making everything fun! I also remember reading some comments that Virgin Atlantic is an inspiration for Kingfisher.

Just compare these photographs:

Your thoughts?

By the way, the VS uniform and Kingfisher look really similar!

In response to the thread starter's question, my take is that yes, he wants to be. Whether or not the competition will let him is another question entirely.

Your thoughts?

No thoughts as I am too distracted by many pretty faces in the photographs. Big grin

I think it's all about attitude and appeal and this guy sure is on the right track. I would wanna fly Kingfisher just coz of the pics above.

Is this guy Chairman of Kingfisher Beer as well- Good beer!!!!!!
Give him credit for trying- He looks like the sort of guy who can pull it off and if he is involved in the beer business too then from what I've read, he seems up to the task. While not very knowledgeable, my supports for an airline based in India goes to the airline most likely to join OneWorld alliance!!!..hehe
