ISTRES (LFMI), near Marseille in the South of France.
The A380 went there with an AF B777 and a LH B744.
Tests on wake turbulences were conducted there with the three a/c.

The "touch" of touch-and-go means that the ac has landed even if it is only for a few seconds.

Got plenty of pictures of the A380 taxiing in Tarbes LDE/LFBT so it definitely landed its 22 wheels over there.

That's interesting...did these two airlines contribute their aircrafts for the test or did Airbus rent the aircrafts from them....? Why didn't they use an A340 instead of a 777?

According to an info feature dated 13.03.06 on Airbus' web page, the A380 visited also Le Bourget (you were right, Rpaillard) and Chateauroux.

They wanted two heavy widebodies but one with 4-engines and one with 2-engines.

Airbus rent the aircraft and their crew for the tests.

LBG (Paris-Le Bourget) was the first airport visited by the A380 after TLS (for the Paris Airshow last June).

I just read this press release from Airbus:

http://www.airbus.com/en/myairbus/headlinenews/index.jsp

I knew it had been to Canada but I am amazed it had gone to Colombia (EOH), Martinique (FDF), and Guadeloupe (PTP) with such little hype. I couldn't find a single picture on A-Net from any of these places.

I assume it flew over the U.S. at some point, but when?

Why wouldn't Airbus make a stop somewhere in the U.S.? There are plenty of airports that can handle a landing right now.

It didn't fly to EOH, it flew to MDE. EOH is to Medellin city as LCY is to London, MDE is to Medellin city as LHR is to London. EOH is the small regional Airport.
It didn't came with little hype to Colombia, it was in the newspapers, in the TV, there were BIG traffic jams and like 5000 people in the terminal just to watch the A380.

There's no picture at a.net because they're just too picky, I took lots myself but I'm not a professional photographer and the camera wasn't the best. A.net is not the only place to search for pictures.
If you want to see my MDE A380 pictures you can log to

757MDE's A380 pictures at MyAviation.net

If you want to see the "hype" the A380 had here look here, it has pictures of the LOTS of people, the traffic jams and what surrounded the A380 tests in Colombia:
