Probably in for maintenance with AA.

Apparently ACTS is having capacity issues, and have to send some of the fleet to 3rd party providers for maintenance.

I know a former AC employee who was called back as a consultant to go to MCI to oversee maintenance and checks on fin 689 (763) last year. They asked for his services again this year, however he said no. They were not offering enough money.

ACTS has too much work now and not enough employees. Now they will hire way too many, but it will take ACTS up to 2 years to train them properly. By that time, ACTS will have lost contracts, and so have to layoff these employees. This is happened many many times over the last 10 years, and it will continue.

Now AC is forced to send their aircraft to third parties for maintenance. Wonderful...
