Could Someone Explain This ORD Delay To Me Please.

WEATHER/LOW CIGS/VIS and EQUIP/CABLE CUT TO C90 RADAR FOR ORD
taken from the ATCSCC website. I got the low cigs/vis part. but what is the C90 Radar? Is it something serious? Guess I'm glad I'm not working today...

now the ATCSCC is saying this:
TELCO LINE CUT - RADAR OUTAGE

Not sure specifically but any radar glitch will usually result in at least MIT delays (Miles In Trail) if not ground stops all together. That and ORD being ORD, even on a good day.

Yep, some contractor cut a cable at the tracon....took awhile to switch over to the backup system.

C90 is the FAA internal identifier for Chicago Approach.
