I'm planning to fly a couple of TP short-hauls, BCN-LIS and LIS-FRA/ZRH. How is TAP nowdays? Can I expect some of that Iberian service attitude (in good and/or bad)? Their web-page says drinks and food are free of charge, in contrast to IB, and Amadeus shows just about all flights to be lightly booked.

Service is pretty friendly in general. Regarding the food, you can expect any of the following:

1. Sandwich with tuna paste and slices of boiled egg
2. Sandwich with some slices of ham-like meat and cheese
3. Sandwich with serrano ham (less common)

Nr. 1 is most likely I'd say.

(Yes I am a frequent TP flyer  Wink)

I scratch my head, therefore I am.

How about the on-time performance? They used to have frequent delays a couple of years ago at least.

Punctuality is one of the areas that Tap have to concentrate on. In general I'm sure that you will find your experience with Tap quite enjoyable.

Hi BuyantUkhaa,

Even thought they serve you sandwiches on short hopes I actually find them quite tasteful. I just wished that they could offer more quantity. You will also find a good variety of drinks to choose from as well.

Regards,
Wings
