DL has added numerous new routes out of SLC over the last 14 months since they killed their hub at DFW. Too many to name to start this post, and with the announcement earlier today that they are adding 8 more routes, where will they go next?  stirthepot

I also see this route in the near future.

It's not just the destination, it's the journey.

I think that with DL doing it, this might be a successful route. Twice per day on 738's? I just dont think Aero-Mexico had the marketing to get it to work.
Could SLC handle a few of the Caribbean routes like MBJ on a sesonal basis, or even a twice weekly seasonal to SXM? Or would SLC just be the hub for Hawaii bound flights? HNL, OGG or KOA, or resort Mexico destinations such as SJD, PVR or CUN? The Caribbean is actually closer by about an hour geographically than Hawaii flying time wise, but I'm not sure the western half of North America does the caribbean as the eastern half seasm to.

Twice per day? When pigs fly.

Delta has evaulated this market very closely in the past. It just isn't there...yet.
