What local or International airlines that dont have regular scheduled flights to your city visited your local Airport? In another word, Are there any International or local airlines that at one time landed at airports that don't normally host them?

Back in the winter of 2000, I remember seeing a Condor B753 sitting at the GA Ramp at MSP. It was there for the B753 World Tour. Luckily, I wasn't the only to see it, because that was quite a rarity here!

Last September my local airport (SWF) received a lot of rare visitors since the airport served as a parking airport for all the VIP aircraft that came in for the U.N. Meet. There was also some bad weather down near JFK in September which also caused diversions.
Special visitors list:
Korean Air 747-400
Royal Brunei A340-200
Algerian Air Force IL-76
Djibuti Government 727-100
Iraqi Government MD-83
Jet Aviation Business Jets DC-8-72
Belgian Air Force A310
Bahrain Governemt 747SP
Qatar Government 737-700

Back in the summer of 01, we had a QF 747-400 divert to RDU do to TSTMS in both the NY and DC Metro areas. I was working in the JI ramp tower, and I thought I was loosing my mind when I saw a QF 747 taxiing out of the corner of my eye.
It sat on the ramp for about 6 hours along with multiple other diversions, the QF crew timed out, and they had to LearJet in a crew from NYC to continue the flight on to JFK. One of the worst weather days I remember.
Interestingly enough, it also happened to be AA's first day of RDU-LGW service with the 777...
Sometimes we don't realize the good times when we're in them

Back in September I was flying ATH-LHR and before we took off a Philippines 737 landed. I only saw it for a couple of seconds through my window and did not catch the reg. I still have no idea what it was doing in ATH.
LGAV has also seen QF 744s and BA 777s.

Last summer I was very surprised to see a Finnair 757 landing at YXU (London, ON) a few hours after the AF A340 crash closed YYZ. Quite a rare bird for an airport that normally sees only regional traffic.
You know the gear is up and locked when it takes full throttle to taxi to the terminal.

It was not a passenger aircraft and it did not land, but our local GA airfield of Blackbushe must have had one hell of a shock when this B-52 did a low flypast as it had mistaken Blackbushe for the nearby Farnborough

I wasn't able to get out there to see it, but during some of the high Bay Area winds a couple of weeks ago, SMF got a China Airlines B744 for a few hours as a diversion. I really wish I could have made it out there, but alas, there is more to life than aircraft.
25 Dragon-wings: On wednesday I seen a United Express CRJ 700 take off from Islip (ISP/KISP). I think it was a diversion because of the radar outage that occurred that
26 D950: There is an Air Canada A320 @ FRG all day today looking great in the sunshine, no doubt leaving after the Islander game tonight.
27 Flyboy7974: I think I got the winner on this one. Live in Prescott, AZ, and I think it was summer of 1999 or 2000, and the AZ desert was getting hit hard all summ
28 KSYR: SYR gets the occasional KLM 747-400 or 777-200. They also have had American A300s, 757s, and 767s drop by.
29 Don81603: After the AF 358 crash, YWG hosted quite a few flights destined for YYZ, and I believe it was last year we had a KLM 744 stop by for a medical emergen
30 NW305: Last Saturday I saw a Pan Am 727 on approach to Charleston, SC. I almost ran a red light looking at it.
31 Kevin82277: A few weeks ago, I saw a Southwest 737-700 in Durango CO, not something you see everyday in Durango.
32 Aussieindc: Um - when did Royal Brunei start operating A340's??? It may have been the Sultan's personal A340???? I thought the largest model they operated was 76
