Today I saw the first TAP A330-200, the plane is fantastic on TAP colours I tell you!!! It's almost like the reality of a dream that had about 4 or 5 years old. But finnally we got our A330-200! I would like to thank the contribution of our friends from Switzerland, specially those at ZRH airport and also at HAM who gave a great "minute-by-minute" update of CS-TOF....my big thanks for all of you. Now let's keep the other two on track.

For your record , this A330 was at Orly today (March 11th) operating the middle journey flight from LIS instead of an A310.
This is the very first revenue flight of any A330 at TAP.
I didn't see myself , but a friend of mine who gave me this info , told me , despite the poor weather today at Paris , that this A330 looks great in TP livery.
It will be not regular at ORY , but will perform other flights for crew training (still as revenue flights) , before to be used 100% on Brasilian routes.
Hope it helps.

It's my favorite Airbus aircraft and it looks incredibly great in TAP colors. The first aircraft in the new c/s that looks really really excellent. Like it was made for this aircraft. Very pretty indeed. Congrats to TP and the Portuguese!

I think that TAP will also use once a while the A330-200 in other routes, that's my understanding...like showing the flag to new markets. I also think that UK, Germany, even Switzerland will have the chance to see the A330-200 there, and of course on long-haul flights. I can easely see the A330-200 flying once a while to EWR too!!!
By the way, the first A310-300 left already TAP, CS-TEZ...ex: Aeroflot and the most worn out!
The name of CS-TOF is "Infante D. Henrique", the father of portuguese discoveries in the 15th. century, I think it's a great name because this man was the responsible for the biggest development of Portugal during the next 150 years.....and I think also the A330-200 and the latter evolution to the A350 will give TAP a great development worldwide.

Congratulations TP and spotters. Now all you portuguese spotters know that with the delivery of such a beautiful bird especially in such striking colors you all have a responsibility and duty to fill a.net with pics so that you're friends here on the other side of the atlantic ocean can enjoy it also.
Os felicitações e sejam certos emitir-nos retratos

Shouldn't we be congratulating those responsible for running the airline? What have the spotters done to deserve any praise? They are there, they spot and take a picture but they are hardly responsible for the arrival of this aircraft. To congratulate them is just silly and nerdy.
Also since I know I am gonna get flamed (because dissent and opposing views are just not tolerated here), I think the livery is pants. The tail is OK but the rest is rubbish. Eurowhite with some over sized letters on the front of the fuselage. Oooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh.

And your point is? The livery is nice, the design of the letters is interesting and the colours red and green - Portugese flag colours - look nice on the white. The only thins is that it looks a little "naked" between the two tail doors, they should have placed something there.

Parabéns (Congratulations) TAP and Airbus
It is in deed a great aircraft and it looks great in the new livery! In the beginning I thought it was quite conventional, but a more positive impression has been gaining ground!
The A332 will bring significant improvements to TAP's service. I hope that TAP flies them to as many places as possible.
