Good evening,

for my summer holiday in June, I plan to fly around the world by means of Boeing 737. The following is the provisional flight schedule. Maybe somebody has funny or fancy additions to make (I have left out lowcost airlines mostly and just checked the ordinary reservation systems). Some parts of the journey are a bit tricky (getting across Pacific and Atlantic Ocean in particular) but it can be done. I might add an extra day here or there (or have to because of missed flight connections or so). Maybe you can spice this up a little bit....

Nice trip planned! Good luck with it.

Imagine though if there was an equipment change on the final leg... you'd be sick then!

How do you plan to afford this leg? Its aboard PrivateAir's BBJ service that they do for LH.

I guess nobody's flying the 731 anymore... otherwise it'd be a challenge to fly every variant of the 737,  Wink

I hope you go through with this and succeed, I'll name you the nuttiest a.nut out there - and I mean that in the nicest possible sense!

Interesting idea! I decided to try and spice up your itinerary by adding an additional challenge: visit all 6 inhabited continents!

This meant adding detours from your itinerary to Africa, Australia and South America (yes, I know many people believe that North and South America are all one continent, but PLEASE let's leave that argument for another time and pretend they are two, just to make this more fun).

So, here goes...I hope you can sleep on planes, since this is a pretty crazy schedule, but just to be nice I included a few overnight stops here and there.  Smile

No 737's flying from Canada (Halifax, St John's etc) to Greenland/Iceland?
But I guess if you're not paying for the BBJ, why not fly one of your final legs in comfort Big grin

Thanks all of you, I am delighted to see so many comments just overnight. I would love to include a little bit more of Central America and Africa, but there are quite some oneway streets. I will for sure write a trip report....

Correct, that was (one of) CO Micronesia´s most famous routings (both directions). There was a feature article about it in "Airways" magazine several years ago. And yes, it was done by a B727 until a while ago.

Great stuff! You could also fly CM IAH-PTY-EZE and visit "south" South America -- where the 737 is truly king!  Smile

Have fun!
