Info On Strange US-Airlines Needed

Hi everybody,

I came across B727-200 c/n 20051/708 and found out, that this lady was flying for some "strange" US-Airllines I never heard before...  Wow!

who can give me more details on these airlines?? Like route, service (no-frill, first-class-carrier), or anything else!

UltrAir was a Houston based airline whose mission was to provide a niche market for the Houston and Houston bound business traveler. They charged the same as the unrestricted fares of the domestic airlines, no attempt to fill empty seats with leisure passengers. Fleet was 727-200's. Cites served besides Houston were Los Angeles and Newark. Flight attendants were trained by American and the airline offered AAdvantage miles. American also provided maintenance, and ground handling. Scheduled service began on Jan 17, 2003. As you can guess they didn't last very long.

I'm not sure about the others, but I would guess they were charter outfits. Charter airlines pop up and dissappear very quickly. Many only have a couple of used 727 or 737.
