According to http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr Corsair is operating a flight to Cairo (CAI) on 15/03 with an A321. AFAIK the airline only operates B747s, A330s and B734s (the latter may have already retired). Is this an error on the website or has the airline leased/acquired an A321?

Flight info:

CRL1528 PAR-CAI 06:15/11:45 0 A321
CRL1529 CAI-PAR 13:25/16:55 0 A321

Maybe it is a one-off equipment substitution. There are quite a few A321 flying for French charter carriers, e.g. Aigle Azur and Air Mediterranée.

Exactly Tristar500 , would be Air Mediterranee.
The flights to Cairo are operated by 734s , but as one (F-GFUH) has left the fleet , being now CN-RPB with Jet4you.com , some flights normally made by 734s , will see some substitution types , such as A321 Air Mediterranee.
Heard next year the flights to Cairo will have A330 equipment.

Will CRL concentrate on widebody flying or are there plans to transfer some narrowbody capacity to the carrier within the TUI group?

Corsair concentrate now on widebody aircraft... It is said that the airline is already think of a replacement for its B747-400 fleet and is eyeing the B777-300ER for 2010-12 ...not far away.

Thank you for all the replies. When will CAI see the A330 (or even the B744) on a regular basis?
