Which Wing Has Red/green Light?

My memory has failed me again, can someone please remind me which wing has which colored lights? Thanks (blush - I feel like every aviation fanatic should know this). Thanks again.

Red Light is on the Left (Port) wing
Green Light is on the Right (Starboard) wing

Here is a handy tip:

Port (as in the after-meal drink) is red. Therefore the Port color is red. Then think what an aristocrat might say after a meal - is there any port left. And that's correct - Port is Left.

The three short words go together and the three long words go together.

Left, Port, Red

Right, Starboard, Green

You'll never forget it again. That's how my father taught me.
