i would want a big fleece blanket and a good size pilow that hadn't been used 1000 times. i like cabins with dark blue interiors and i want the plane to be real cold. there is nothing worse then a hot plane. i dont know what tyoe of food i would want but it should be eatable and it would need to keep me full for the flight. i have always wanted a buffe or something like that. maybe have one of those galleys discussed in another recent post. the aircraft of choice would have to be either a 767 or A330-340, mainley because of the seating 2-3-2 or 2-2.2-2. if you want to make a 777 or 747 2-4-2 then go ahead.

you still trying to make an airline to compete with LAN? you are gonna have to give me a good discount for replying to all your posts

Well I've never flown that specific route, so it would depend opon the length, and whether it was during the day or not.

If the LIMA-SCL route was a short one, and during the daytime, then the only thing I would request would be a window seat!

If during the night, well I wouldn't try to go to sleep on such a route. If direct to EZE, then I would probably look at flying First/Biz, if the price was reasonable.

For any long haul flights I would like a seat trimmed in a soft leather that was fairly cushy with those new winged headrests. Seat pitch is not too much of an issue with me, I'm 5'9". I would like a slightly wider seat however, I think that really adds more to the feeling of personal space, but that may not be possible unless you remove a row or get really narrow aisles. As for IFE I think you should have PTVs that can be turned on and off from the seat with a good variety of audio and video choices, plus some internet access. I prefer a bright cabin. But a good blue or grey for the seating material to really set the decor.

hope that helps.

And would it hurt airlines to put cup holders on plane seats... I am suprised nobody has done that.

large armrests would be nice in coach. my last flight on an AA777 had very narrow armrests and the remote for the ptv was attached on top so whenever the geezer next to me moved his arm (god forbid i use the arm rest) it would change the channel or turn on.

as for the FAs, you should hire very hot ones from brazil or argentina (not the bitchy ones) and gay guys from LA or san fransisco. i am sorry if i am being racist but that is what i want...........

you should also have a special class reserved especially for people that only want to sleep. there should be no babys or food (not even breakfast) available. traytables or ptvs should not be in there. just seats with no lights, if a passenger get hungry or thursty, then he can go to the galley and get something. you could offer a very cheap buisness class under these same standards!

the best flight entertainment you could offer would be that program that shows how fast the plane is going and exactly where it is, whats that called again?

I would like to have a special amnety bag with stuff like a toothbrush, a little towel, a pillow and a blanket of course.
There should be a special area in the plane reserved for people travelling with kids.
Colors of the inside don`t really matter to me.
As for the fa's, don`t hire any that are older than 35 years !!

Ok... fly a 767-400ERX, with a 2-2-2 seating config for the entire plane with a 34-35" seat pitch. Now that would be nice!

please do not allow smoking on the plane, i ahte that...

if you are trying to start a new airline, i wouldnt recomend using a 767-400. it is a nice plane but it wouldn't suite your needs, and the teething problems it will have could kill you. i would recomend using an old DC-10 or even an MD-11! i know airlines are getting rid of those

i would love to fly an dc-10 with 2-3-2 or 2-4-2 seating!

Ok... I will comprimise on a 767-300ER... they are easier to get anyways. About how many could you fit in one with a 2-2-2 config with a 34-35" Midwest Express style seating? I imagine you could still seat 220 or so.

i guess that would depend on weither there are footrests and how far the seats recline.....

i would love the 767-300ER, but how about an L1011 tristar? or even an A310 or A300?

The Midex seat is 21" wide and has 33-34" pitch. Though I would go with 34 or 35". The little pop-down footrests that United used to have on the A320s would work, and I don't think would take up any extra space. Seat recline would be what you usually see in domestic first class... maybe slightly less seeing as the seat pitch is slightly less than first.

I envision a Midwest Express type product. 2-2-2 seating in a 767. PTVs, good meal service. And a ticket that may not be as cheap as the super saver economy fares, but regular tickets going in the range of typical non-restricted coach tickets.

The reason I go with the 767 is that it works really well with the 2-2-2 seating... whereas the L-1011, A300/310 are slightly wider... it wouldn't quite get that same appeal.

But think about it, around 210-220 passengers that are not paying super saver fares... though nobody is paying for a first or business class ticket the yields still could be good. and whatever cargo you could stuff in the belly as well.

that sounds good, but i still think there should be a first class product. it doesnt have to be big but should be there so everybody could think they would get an upgrade or a select few can feel special. i was thinking some thing along the lines of US air's new first class sleepers on their A330's........

i would think the 767 would be a good plane because you could directly compare your airline to that of LAN chiles (good advertising). But, dont forget that Lan is quite dominant in the cargo buisness (their cargo planes look the best  )

i think you would need a little more then a domestic first class seat on an international airline. i sometimes find those seats no where near as comfterble as an international buisness class. remember that a normal buisness class on a 767 is 2-2-2.......

You mean we have to give them a first class type section...

Ok... i see a product like CO's Business First/ DL's Business Elite. Almost fully reclining sleeper seats...55-60 inch seat pitch and 2-2-2 or 2-1-2 config...plus better food service and those larger ptvs that come out of the armrest. also United's business class has a built in adjustable reading light, personal gte airphone.

Yeah, there's no need for a first class.
Just make a good business and a comfortable, affordable economy with PTV's and good service.
A 777 or some new Airbuses 330/340 would be nice.

Based on the posts would you fly an airline that had all the features suggested at the same price of LAN
