Does anyone know which airlines, other than Cathay Pacific and Air New Zealand, are suppliers of 742's to
Virgin??

Also, does anyone know where Virgin got its first 747,
Maiden Voyager, from? This plane is still in service with the airline, operating from Heathrow and Gatwick to the USA?

All of Virgin's Rolls Royce powered 742s seem to be ex-Cathay or ex-Air New Zealand machines.

The Pratt and Whitney powered ships are:
G-VGIN (i believe this one is Madien Voyager) B747-243B, l/n 134, originally delivered to Alitalia as I-DEMU, and later registered as... N358AS, B-2440, and N747BL.

G-VIRG B747-287B, l/n 274,
G-VJFK, G-VLAX, B747-238B , l/ns 238 & 241... both ex-Qantas.

ANZ = G-VBEE, G-VPUF, G-VIBE, G-VSSS, G-VZZZ
CX = G-VCAT, G-VRUM
QF = G-VJFK, G-VLAX

G-VIRG was originally Aerolineas Argentinas (not sure though if it was bought through them)

G-VGIN was originally Alitalia (almost positive)
