Right place at the right time. Walking the dogs on a beautiful clear day and carrying my binoculars so as to spot birds, I noticed something big and white flying slowly. To the naked eye it looked curiously familiar and with the binoculars there was no doubt: an A380.
11.56am. It was flying north or maybe a little north-east. Perhaps on its way to Hamburg? It was all-white so which one was it?
So that's my first view of an A380. And rather splendid it was too!
Are joking or are you sure? I did see an aircraft that looked like it flying over Munich at about 12:20, but I could not stop my car and I was not sure.

Quoting Jorge1812 (Reply 5): How high was it? Cruising altitude or low fly-over?
As it might have been headed to HAM it probably had cruising altitude over ZRH. Being located in Zurich myself, I am so unlucky not to have seen the big whale this morning
What amazes me more is that the A380 was spotted in LIS. I wonder if that was the same plane...

The A-380 is just on the way to Basel ex Toulouse right now. Estimated arrival time is currently 11:13. It will be F-WWDD and will at least do a touch-and-go.

It came from the north and was easy to see until the place where ASA stands still (for those less familiar still on the french side), after that it entered a big cloud.... Such a pity it didn't touch and go!
