Headed from Missouri to Texas..
Unsure if it was a bizjet or a twin prop..
Engine trouble reported, then went down into a self-storage facility..

Son, you don't have to PROVE anything to anyone so don't let that even be a consideration for you. Like I said young man, email me if you need to talk and just try and remember all the wonderful things about your loved ones. I am sure they were wonderful people.
Oh how I miss Midway Airlines. A class act right to then end.

Just got an update on the Houston news, according to Channel 11 KHOU there were 4 on board, 2 couples flying home from vacation in MO back to Lubbock TX- pilot reported trouble with airplane and crashed attempting to make it back to the airport.
My prayers and condolences go out to the friends and families involved.
Having lost friends in ag-aviation, it's never easy, but nobody forces you to fly and we all accept the risks involved to feel the thrill of doing something we love.

Oh my god, my uncle from Harker Heights, TX just called up and said they got a call from the son of Paul and Marcia, and said he wasnt even aware of his parents horrible death until CNN called his house and said this EXACTLY no lie "How does it feel to lose both your parents" he was confused and thought they had the wrong number. Shows how incredibly rude, and careless the media/news is.

That is absolutely horrible.
I lost all respect for the mainstream media years ago. Look at how Larry King looked when JetBlue Flight 292 made the safe landing at LAX. He seemed so dissapointed. I wonder what that would have done for ratings had it turned out badly?

Try to keep your chin up, PDX.
I think the best way to honor a lost loved one is to get the family together, celebrate the good times you shared with him, have a few laughs in his memory, and enjoy each other's company.
If he was anything like my relatives, that's what he would have wanted.

Sorry to hear about your loss KPDX. It is always gut wrenching when you lose someone close, and you see it across the news. Hang in there bud! You know he is in a great place and being well cared for.
I will not comment regarding what comments were made about the validity of this, but I think the others have spoken well enough.
