Venezuela`s Airlines

It is said that Venezuela`s carriers are undergoing a merger process or something in order to survive. Avensa suspended flights to Europe, while Aserca could not yet start flights to EZE/GRU/GIG. Does anybody have an update on this? May be some fleet news, since as far as I know, Aserca should need new airplanes to start to flight to the Southern Cone.
