Aeromexico Announces 3 New Flights Out Of Ontario.

The news of the day for Aeromexico belong to the 777. Some other news, not as important; AM has officially announced three new flights from Ontario, CA. to Mexico (Aguascalientes, Leon, and Morelia)

Thanks for the info Juventus. These new flights clearly show that AM is not obsessed with the Cripple 7 and the airline is diversifying its portfolio.

BTW, do you know how many (daily or weekly) flights AM has to Los Ángeles metro? I think close to 40 weekly.

Not sure how many, but it seems like more than that. Mexicana seems to have a much larger presence at LAX than AM. I've seen Mexicana agents boards those late night flights. They pack them, and is one right after the other. Aeromexico's ONT expansion is a great idea, besides the flight-limits, MX is just too strong at LAX.

The flights were acutally loaded, and available for sale, and then pulled. Perhaps they were awaiting regulatory approval? MEX-YYZ is busy year round.

I know! I am so disappointed. I was really looking forward to non-stop service between YYZ and MEX by AM. Maybe the fact that AC is going to attack this market with more strength now that MX and AC are no longer codeshare partners gave AM second thoughts. Or hopefully it is just a regualtory delay and the flights will reappear in the system later this year as soon as the approvals are obtained.

But back to the topic at hand, congratulations AM for expanding the ONT operations! Nice move!

Coming soon: MEX-MFE (VW CR2), IAH-PHL-CDG (US E90 and A333), ORY-EWR (OpenSkies 752), EWR-MEX (UA 73W)!!!
