It's slightly more complicated, the new owner had no interest to operate the charter airline along with the travel agency - but the truth is Fischer Air is no more.
These two 737-300s have been sitting idle in PRG since the end of October 2005...

I have heard the same, since they had no charter contracts left as of November, they were trying to find carriers in Asia etc. to operate the aircraft on an ACMI basis during the winter period and already told their employees they will have to shut down in early November in case they do not find any ACMI contracts.

According to Airliner World Magazine's April edition on page 9, it says quote: "the Polish tour operator Podroze TV has purchased charter carrier Fischer Air Polska and a revised corporate brand will be introduced this summer. In the meantime the airline has acquired a third B757 and a 4th aircraft is due for delivery later this year" unquote.
The rebranding may be due to the question which started the thread. It is not good for an airline if its customers think it is bankrupt.

Fischer Air Polska is now owned by Podroze TV (which is coowned by MyTravel). The fate of the third 757 is yet unknown, as it still is in FRA waiting for delivery.
One of the 737-300s SP-FVO (ex OK-FIT) is supposed to go to Centralwings and re-registered to SP-LME. It has been parked for a few weeks in front of the hangars and I think some work is done on it from time to time.
