Oh im sorry I cant believe i didnt read this!
So how are they doing now?
Well probably pretty good once they walked away from their previous stock holders which includes many employees and other investors. First thing they did was to issue themselves a new stock and give the management team a good bunch of it. To the rest of the UAL stockholders....adios suckers!

My company sells UAL aircraft parts. We watched them very carefully up until they filed, and only had to write off about 12,000 in receivables after their filing.
Yesterday we receieved a check for about 1800, or 15%, as our share of the settlement.
Bigger vendors, owed much more, received cash and shares.
