Discovery Channel Filming Today: The Discovery Channel is filming a documentary today here at the CLE Hub. The documentary is called "Locker B", based on Pan Am Flight 103 scheduled from Heathrow to JFK, which on December 21, 1988 was blown up as it flew over Lockerbie, Scotland when 12 to 16 oz of plastic explosive was detonated in its forward cargo hold. Two hundred and seventy people from 21 countries died, including 11 people on the ground and with 189 of the victims being Americans, it stood as the deadliest attack on American civilians until September 11, 2001. The film crew will be filming by the ticket counter, in the BMU and on the ramp. The "Life of a Bag" as it gets checked in until it gets to the cargo bin. The last film they shot call “911” is up for an Emmy.

More and more productions are being shot in Cleveland due to a very active Film Commission and extremely low costs. Given the following, location doesnt really matter:

Interestingly enough, there was an announcement last week that Spiderman3 was going to shoot some scenes as well.
