Just a trial for now but hopefully it will continue in the same manner as Bmi Baby's services.

It had been rumoured on a number of EDI forums over the last week as it was known BE had the slots

Since Flybe have announced, NQY as a 'base', hopefully further routes will be announced, though it could be stiff competition for Air Southwest. I could see BE interested in NQY-MAN/LBA/BHX/BHD and maybe even DUB in the future

How the hell on earth can BE call NQY a base when all it has is 3 flights a week from EDI? This airline comes out with as much rubbish as MOL!!!

Well if they have announced a base their, then i think that means that there will be a few more routes announced in the near future?

I think this is quite a good route, because i have relatives in Plymouth and since BA cancelled the EDI-EXT-PLY route, the BE EDI-EXT flight is the cheapest for us to go to Plymouth. (If the fares are cheaper than the BA EDI-EXT).

Anyway now that EDI-NQY has been announced, then we will have 2 different options when we go down their.

Thanks
Mike

haha,

Sorry that is what i meant. I only said EXT cos i was talking about the BE EDI-EXT option before. Although SOU isn't a big option, i suppose if we get picked up it is alright.

Never tried it by train though, not sure if there is even a service.

I only hope that Air Southwest start flying PLY-EDI. But god knows if they it is worth their while.?!?!

Thanks
Mike
