If it's out of DCA, it's USAir, if it's out of IAD, it's UA. US ran about five flights a day from DCA to BDL and UA ran about four from IAD.

If it's June of 1989, EA may have already pulled out of that route. EA filed for Chapter 11 in July of 1989, I believe, and was flying a drastically paired-down schedule at the time. I know that by early 1990, most of the DCA flying was to Florida and ATL. The Shuttle had already been sold off.

Didn't Pilgim fly F-28s from BDL to DCA or was it flown through HVN?

Quoting MasseyBrown (Reply 5): I wonder if Eastern would have had a couple BDL-DCA flights at that time; they did operate that route at various times.
Eastern stopped flying DCA-BDL and DCA-PVD in March 1989 when the strike began. (As well as DCA to several other points) The routes never reappeared. At the end EA only flew from DCA to ATL, BOS, FLL, MIA, MCO, TPA, and PBI

Presidential may have been flying the route as well at the time.
