N693DL....changing Song to DL colors

Hi I just saw DL a/c 693 and I just wanted to know if this is the first a/c back into DL colors from Song. It had the TV's and Song color seats.

it is still listed as a 75K which is a Song designated a/c. I haven't seen any Delta/Song combi's yet.

I know that ship 610 the Pink SOng was recently repainted though. Maybe they are planning to keep it for a little while.

Interesting - maybe they are planning on that conversion later on.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the Song planes start getting repainted as it would make sense to have at least some IFE equipped planes in DL colors to launch the "new" Delta on May 1.

I wonder how long it will take to retrofit the rest of the fleet ?

When will non-Song airplanes start to be phased onto Song routes?

I'm flying on "Song" in mid-Apr and it's listed as a 752 w/o 1st class, so I'm assuming it will still be song equipment (it better be! it's one of the only reasons I'm flying DL now that my medallion status has expired - i want 1 final hurrah on song after so many happy flights on them!)

I'm not sure if it had F/C but it ops as a Song flt today from LGA to PBI it will be back in NYC Apr 1(JFK 2005).

I think he means in Song colors because I just saw the Pink Song in FLL on the 18th.

The proper term is "on final" not "on finals" bud...

I was outside the other day (near BDL) and noticed the daily Song flight from FLL was in Delta colors, not Song. It was the only time this week I noticed this. Now it could have been an equipment swap from the ATL flight, but checking on FlightAware, it seemed as if it was in fact from FLL. Maybe DL has already started repainting the 757s...

The pink Song 757 was done to support breast cancer research and has the pink ribbon in the front. If it has been repainted, it is just within the past week.

...and I flew on it on DL 2079 on Friday evening, March 31. I will miss Song but hopefully its spirit/style will live on at Delta.
