Hello all

I was wondering do you think AC will paint their new 777-200LR with Star Alliance livery? They seem to have it on several of their other a/c.. 767-200, 767-300, A340-300 and on Jazz CRJ-705..

They will probably paint one or two in the STAR livery because there are 2 A343's in the STAR livery right now.

They probably will. I think FF Alliance liveries are a waste! I think it is okay to make it more prominent than the seal up near the front door, but an entire a/c? How UGLY can you get!! IT SUCKS!!!!

I think, contractually, they will have to.

Logically I would think so, I believe all star alliance members have at least one wide body (pride of the fleet) in the star alliance colour scheme.

I'm still hoping that AC will come out with a modified newer scheme for its B777s and B787, signifying another big change that AC is undergoing with the addition of these aircraft.

I work for BD and I believe it to be that at least one of each aircraft type has to be painted in Star Livery of each carrier. Ugly as sin, you are correct. Cheap though! Better than the old livery I feel, the one commonly known as 'the post-it note/washing line' livery.

What do you propose?

I think that they should add maple leafs that look as if they're being blown around on the engines.

You can cross 767-299 off that list. I believe C-GAUB has left the fleet. It was their first B767.
