It seems Aloha might still add some earlier and/or later flights to OGG and/or LIH. BUT, we are still far from the peak in interisland flying in 2000-2001 when HA and AQ were each running over 30 daily roundtrips HNL-OGG...a testament to how much the market has shrunk due to the increase in direct flights to the neighbor islands from the mainland during that time.
***HA also has 2 daily roundtrips from OGG-KOA and 1 daily roundtrip from OGG-LIH which are not accounted for in the total above.

Aloha Airlines - The Spirit Moves Us. Gone but NEVER Forgotten. Aloha, A Hui Hou!
Well, HA did just arrange to get a few ex-DL 763s, so look for an expansion there (through unfortunately, probably no new destinations, just expanded services to what they serve currently). But these increases are no doubt in response to the upcoming Mesa subsidiary "Go!" that will begin to offer interisland flights with CRJs.

The "new" 767s will probably be online sometime in Aug or Sept. Extensive refurbishing as well as ETOPs upgrades has to be done. The condition of the aircraft was not as bad as the aircraft that we acquired from LTU. No new destinations are rumored, just more frequencies to the cities that we have established.
