According to ch-aviation, air one is to start daily service between NAP and BLQ in July, using the crj 900. Could it possibly be the one which had to go with styrian spirit ?? Does someone have more info on this ?

That is fantastic news if it is true... does Air One have any experience with flying CRJs or will they perhaps offer employment for laid-off Styrian pilots and mechanics? Austria-Italy are close neighbours, so pilots can commute home without too much fuss and time spent travelling, I guess...
Styrian was supposed to have 88 seats in their CRJ900, so that should make it quite economical and just right for such a route.

Air One was first supposed to get EMB-170s, the latest rumours are they will get CRJ-900s fairly soon and they already loaded flights in the GDSs with CRJ-900 equipment as of July.

I flicked through Airliner World, April 2006 issue, last night and there they said that Air One will take 9 x CRJ900 over the next two years.
The 9 x CRJ900 are from LH's order for 12 aircraft announced in December 2005. Apparently, LH has not been able to expand on the pilot scope-clause which currently limit aircraft to max 70 seats in their CityLine ops, therefore the 84-seaters are transferred to Air One.
As LH is disposing of 20 x CRJ200 when taking the CRJ900 - which then go to Air One, will the CityLine fleet shrink its capacity a fair bit or do Air One operate the CRJ200s that will be leaving, so that capacity stays about the same for both Air One and CityLine? Which airline will take the last 3 x CRJ900?
I assume the Styrian-bound CRJ900 is already in production... will that aircraft become the first LH/Air One aircraft instead, with BBD simply readjusting their order book from 62 frames to 61?

Air One wont receive a single CR9 of the LH order.
All will be operated by CLH it was part of the Deal with Bombardier that the CR9 had to be operated in LH colours. And they will!

Really? Was this an April fools-article by AW magazine then? Or were they just grossly disinformed?
Does that mean that the Styrian CRJ900 might be heading for Air One after all?
Good to hear that the CRJ900 will fly in the CityLine fleet, they'll look good in LH livery. Any word on when the first one arrives?

Air One will receive the first 2 CRJ-900 the first week of May. The first plane was painted last week. They will arrive directly from Bombardier. Air One took the decision to not announce the deal.
Within the end of July 1 more CRJ will join the fleet and 2 more by the end of the year.
They will be operated by Air One CityLiner division, a new airlines owned by Air One.

The first will arrive in June and in Nov or Dec the last will arrive.
If Air One receives the CR9 they are not part of the LH order.
90Seats sounds to much for me. The standard config is 86 seats.
