I'm currrently working on my single engine commerical license. The main requirement is that you have 250hrs. Now from what I understand 50 of those 250hrs may be from a simulator. I currently have around 225 hours including 50hrs of sim time. However, 25hrs of my 50hrs of sim time is from B1900 turoprop. The question is can those 25hrs for B1900 sim time be counted toward my 250hrs for my commerical? I have checked the FARs and under 61.129 (I) they make a mention of sim time use, but it is not clear. Is there anyone out there that can give me some insight?

Call your local FAA office and ask them, they are going to be the one's to say yes or no.

I'll second calling the FSDO.
Why are you wasting money (and time) by doing it part 61?
