Playboy's Big Bunny DC-9.

Whatever became of Hugh Hefner's corporate jet, the sleek, black, Big Bunny DC-9 that he went whizzing around the world in along with his honey bunnies back in the late 60's and early 70's? Is there any literature or photo (spread) one may direct me to regarding this once famous a/c? Thank you.

I believe the plane was turned back into an airliner and subsequently scrapped some years ago.

Which does remind me--I wonder does Playboy Enterprises still have some sort of corporate jet nowadays?

Playboy and Flying both did feature articles on his DC-9 (both were done in the 70s, but there are some archive search engines that should help you find them). The Maintenance checks were done by Ozark.

I liked the Playboy article a lot better. It was a little less technical but more pleasing to the eye.

It is still flying with Aeromexico. Not sure of the registration #

Yes was converted back to an airliner. First it went to Aeropostal as YV-19C and the to Aeromexico as XA-JEB. I far as I know it is still with Aeromexico.
