Its official, the a/c seat manufactured SICMA, got an order from El Al to manufacture full flat beds for the long haul fleet (777 and 744).
The original plan was to install angles lie flat seats, but they have decided to go ahead with full flat seats. (180 dgreees)
The seats will be very similiar to the seats in IB, SA and AY Long Haul Business Class.
The seats will be gradually introduced already in the coming months. LY hope to start installation before the summer season.

The 767's were recently installed with lie angled seats. They are almost flat, with a pitch of 60'. I think those seats were manufactured by Webber. Webber has been manufacturing seats for El Al for a very long time.
They are very comfortable.

What were those tan leather seats I saw in First? From what I recall, they went the full 180°. This was about 5 years ago even. Not sure if it was on the 744 or 772.

Those were First Class Seats manufactured by Webber for First, I am talking about in Platinum Class(LY's Long Haul Business Class).
Those tan seats are currently in 772 and 744.
