Both companies, plus five other potential bidders that failed to initially qualify for the auction, have until April 17 to fix their applications, according to the agency.
They didn't "fail to qualify," B6, like Verizon, failed to fill out the paperwork properly. Since there are only two licences being issues... I have no doubt Jetblues DirectTV division will fix up the paperwork in the next two weeks and resubmit.

Lets hope this does NOT include cell phones as we all have agreed that allowing cell phones on flights will spark an 'air-rage' problem. Cell phones have absolutely no place on ANY U.S. Domestic flight whatsoever.....including foreign carriers entering U.S. airspace.

If it were up to me, I'd pass legislation banning cell phones on commercial flights.
