It's not like it stuck or anything, but the New York Area saw Thunder Snow today and a period of wind-blown, wet snow that lasted from mid morning til early afternoon.

First April snow since 2003. Pretty amazing since it was over 70 F/20 C on Sunday.

As of 1:22pm it's still snowing outside (sideways!)

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you to their level and beat you with experience.

Hope my 5 o'clock from SYR-JFK isn't delayed. That would suck.

The snow stopped and it is now bright and sunny over NJ... but we did get about 2" of accumulation here in Morris County in the "hills." It's all gone now, though.

Flying into EWR in late march last year, there was a good bit of snow, which I thought was strange. But what do I know coming from DFW  Smile It's hit mid to high 80s already here, and rocketting upward quick.

I've flown on 9V-SPK.

The snow stopped now and it is as sunny as if it never happened. All 4 seasons in one day

What an incredible storm. We had lightning, thunder, and a squall of snow that cut visibility to less than 1/8th of a mile just north of JFK. At 11am the temperature was 32 degrees - at 3:30 it is 43. What a day!  Wow!

I got about 2" inches of snow at Work in Union County, melted by 1:45. It was snowing real heavy at times with big flakes.

I can remember when I was around 9 we had so much snow that school was closed, this was late April '84.
