I searched everywhere, and could not find a thing about them besides a few pics. They have a very poor website, and obviously don't advertise much. You would think if starting scheduled service, they would at least put out an effort to be known. Especially on the net! I searched forever to find their reservations number, and finally found it. Apparently they are starting the service with a D-328. Any pics?????

Quoting Blsbls99 (Reply 1): Aren't they associated with Scenic Air out of Las Vegas, NV?
No. Different companies. They both do Grand canyon sightseeing but there is no relationship.

Vision Air is actually a competitor of Scenic Airlines. They operate the DO-228 mostly, although there is far fewer on their ramp these days after 9/11. I have also seen a DO-328, and even a Jetstream 31 with "Vision AIr" on the sides.

Quoting F9Animal (Thread starter): Apparently they are serving North Las Vegas Airport to Mesa Airport soon.
Yup!! IWA (Williams Gateway Airport, Mesa, AZ) is ready to take on its first commercial service flight. Its a huge deal for the folks here. Hopefully this will start to attract more airlines to fly into IWA to help ease congestion into PHX.

From what I understand vison air is also getting ready to begin service in LGU (Logan UT) this coming summer which will be the marking of the first passenger service our of LGU in a long time if at all. The reasidents seem pretty happy about it and the city itself is looking forward to this service.

I just don't understand their marketing campaign. If I have to go through heck to find a reservations number for them, imagine the heck a passenger wanting to fly them out of a small town would have trying to accomplish the same task would face?
I guess I am complaining about the lack of tools they are using to attract business. The newspaper articles are great, but after reading the one I found, I could not find anything on them without conducting google searches. Sadly, I called Vision Air's gift shop, and the lady gave me the wrong number to the airline! LOL!

Quoting F9Animal (Reply 8): Are they planning on doing something about that?
Williams is the first scheduled route.
They just opened this website but it doesn't pop up high in search engines yet. http://www.visionairlines.com/
I assume that this site will be listed in ads. I don't know when it will be reservation ready. I heard this site will take reservations starting in June or July.

Quoting FATFlyer (Reply 4): Lots in the database. Here are a couple
Those are Doriner 228's. I don't see any pics of their 328 in the database, but I did find this one:

Nice paint, the 328 is a sexy looking bird to me. I hope they make it, but it just seems like a rough chance in my opinion. But hell, I have been proven wrong at least once in my life!

Hooray for more Las Vegas-Phoenix routes. What is that, like 15,000 a day?
'Cause you're on ATA again, and on ATA, you're on vacation!

The flights started on April 6th between Mesa and North Las Vegas. I live close to the airport and I can tell you they haven't been on time yet. The planes were purchased from Air Wisconsin. I was in one last weekend that they still had the United Express colors in the passenger cabins. Most boring livery yet.

I wish Vision Air all the best in their new scheduled service. Hopefully, it will become popular enough to sustain service.
How many Do-328's does Vision Air plan to acquire?
NIK...here's your opportunity for flights between Laughlin and Las Vegas.

AirCop, any more info on what you mean by not being on time at all? I'm guessing you live close enough to see the inbound/outbound flights. Also, you were in a D328 last weekend? How did you get that chance? Just wondering if Vision Air had an open house with the a/c at IWA, or did you get the chance elsewhere?
From the article I read, I would pay the $69 to get a chance to ride on a D328. Before long, these a/c will be gone like all the rest, and I'm guessing full in flight service is offered. I would be bummed though if they downgraded the flight to a D228 with low loads.
Does anybody have any further links to the service and/or aircraft used? Thanks

Last weekend was a open house at Williams Gateway Airport and Vision had the D328 there for people to walk thru. My daughter was more impressed riding in the helicopter.
One other thing, from Vision ad, it looks like scheduled charter service like Morris Air had, rather than regular service.

You're right, I was distracted. I had something come up requiring a quick trip out of town and was trying to get some preparations made that day. Just got back.
