I came across below photo and to my surprise I saw there are two ex-TransBrasil 767-200s (?) still parked there in full colours. I wanted to know what the status is of these aircraft? Were they owned by TransBrasil? I constantly hear the 767 is hard to get these days and that the demand for these aircraft is very high. So why have these TransBrasil 767s not found a new owner? I know the demand for the 767 is particularly for the stretched -300 series but the 767-200 is also a nice aircraft to operate. Why didn't AV take over these aircraft, didn't they need them back then? AV would have been a nice candidate for these aircraft in my opinion but still they didn't take them. The 767-200 is also increasingly converted to fullfreighter and more cargo (express) airlines operate the 767-200 as a converted fullfreighter. Why didn't any cargo airline take-over these aircraft? Tampa, DHL and Airborne Express come to mind here. What's wrong with these ex-TransBrasil 767-200s that they haven't found a new owner yet after so long?
