I havnt flown them, but I know they are a wholly owned by Cyprus Airlines and operate 4 738(W) , they used to operate A320's but 738's replaced these. They seat 189 in the 738's and their code is UI. And yes they have IFE

I flew with them on GLA-LCA when they had A320's. It was a great flight, yet the pilots left the cockpit door open and you could see every move they made.

Thanks
Mike

We handle them at MAN, their 738's are very reliable. The odd time CY will operate on their behalf using A320's, this is due to Eurocypria operating on behalf of Luxor Air using the 738's. The crew is very friendly too.

I flew with ECA wo years ago and they were very good. Leather seats, IFE and pretty good punctuality for a charter carrier.

I was two times onboard of Eurocypria's B737-800 in summer 2004.

Before boarding at ZRH for the flight to LCA they hang a flag of Greece out of the cockpitwindows - because the footballteam of Greece was in the 1/2-final of the european championship.

The flight was normal - no surprise.

I flew with them last year, the B738s are nice and comfortable, the food was pretty rubbish though.

Are those LXO flights operated by the same Eurocypria aircraft or do you get different one each time?

Here is a pic of one of their B738s (5B-DBW) in SSH and I wanted to know whether it is the one used by LXO?

LXO use the 738's, and i think they use the CY A320's now and again.

Cheers Speedbird19. I guess that means LXO aren't leasing an ECA B738 but rather ECA are operating LXO flights with various aircraft.

That's right yup, something to do with LXO not being able to land at MAN due to unpaid landing fees.

Yes they seem to rotate the 738's about to do the LXO flights. We handle them at MAN too, and its been a different 738 everytime I have done it. So with 738's operating on LXO's behalf, A320's are used for ECA flights from CY.

I think the reason is as Speedbird 19 says, they are unable to operate themselves due to a number of reasons.

I flew with them back in 2004. Their cabin crew were rude and aggressive towards me. They were also 4 hours late.
