I just tried to find some trip reports about Air China, but didn’t find any.
Reason is that I will fly with them to PVG from FRA next Saturday and would like to know what to expect. Do they have PTV in Business Class or is smoking still allowed? I couldn’t find anything on their Homepage?
Furthermore I will fly UA from HKG to HCM, anything special to expect here?

I flew Air China Frankfurt - Beijing a year ago and found the service decent in Business Class. The seat was very comfortable and used electronic functions for movement. Meal Service was decent, but nothing extraordinary.
I seem to remember PTV's in the armrest - so I would expect them to be equipped as well. Try snagging a seat in the Upper Deck... it would be better.
Air China's service was fine, nothing extraordinary, but just fine. I arrived in Beijing and was able to complete a days work.
