About the APM connecting with light rail, this is definitely a must, since the current planned light rail airport station is nowhere near the terminals. Interesting to hear that T2 will soon be replaced. Where will United, Continental, Alaska and Air Canada fly out of during the interim?

That's a good question. Some of them could probably go out of the west side of T3-south. Ever since TZ moved to T4, those odd-number gates on T3-south have been unused with the exception of 9, which gets used once or twice a day by YX then again at 11 at night for 1 hour by B6. Otherwise I don't know where they'd go. Perhaps they'd park them on the executive ramp or in the holding bay between T3 north and T4, then just bus the pax over after clearing security in either T3 or T4. Sometimes they probably could use jetways at T4. During certain times of the day, like between the morning and early evening rush hours, the HP/US hub in T4 has lots of empty gates.
