Today Is Hooters Air's Last Day Of Regular Service

According to hootersair.com, April 16 is Hooters Air's last day of air service.


Hooters Air Announces Cancellation of Service in Selected Cities
Hooters Air flight service will end in the following cities on these dates:

Allentown, Ft. Lauderdale, Myrtle Beach, Newark, St. Petersburg: April 17, 2006

Scranton, Orlando: March 26, 2006

Customers holding reservations after these dates are currently being processed for a refund. If you have questions please contact our reservations at 1-888-359-4668.

I wonder if the charters are going to be done by Pace? Although Hooters (Brooks) owned Pace, they ran seperate offices. What aircraft are left in Hooters livery?

If you ACTUALLY read the press release, it says SELECTED cities. I don't think it means it will go 100% out of business as it fails to mention that.

What you say is correct, but the fact is that Hooters Air will cease operating as of today.....Pace (which operated the flights under the Hooters Air name) will continue to do charter work.

Another airline gone.....it shows how difficult it is for a start-up carrier, even one with reasonable backing and a brand image, to begin operations at the present time. Hooters was "goofy" - but its always sad when an airline closes down.

Hooters had a fleet of 732, 733 and 752 aircraft, correct? Any info on the disposal of the aircraft?

513NA and 750WL is still sitting at VCV I believe.

The -200 will be kept by Pace.
