Just came across a newspaper article which says that the US State Dept has issued a guide to American travellors abroad on how to behave and conduct themselves in a way that will make their journey more enjoyable, and at the same time improve the rest of the world's perception of the USA and its people.

I personally like Americans. These guidelines are however so true is so many cases! So if you are American and are travelling, or know someone that is travelling then read or pass on these guidelines, I think you will find your trip will be much more pleasant and people will be more helpful to you.
