I preferred the old one. It was easier on the eye. This one will take some getting used to, I think.

I don't - the new one doesn't look as military as the old.

I also noticed on their website the new livery for Iran Air. Hard to tell what the design is on the tail.

IIRC, it's the mythical Persian "Homa".

The previous livery is nicer. The new one looks odd because of the large titles and the antelope on the tail is likewise, too big as well.

The old one was better. It was easy on the eye unlike now and also the older one just looked alot less cluttered than the new one. At least they kept that smart looking gray color... The Oryx is also too big on the tail to actually look good.

Eurowhite just does not do the A380 any justice at all I'm afraid.

Love the retro scheme on the QF 380! Hope this is how she enters into service.

About QR, with the picture, it's hard to tell... And the angle on the plane is not the best to catch the livery, but, whatever, time will tell...

That would be FANTASTIC. The A380 with some kind of classic livery, in 3 letters: wow.

The wings on the kangaroo : wow again.

When I doubt... go running!

I liked the TAAG Angolan Airlines concept a lot.
Big version: Width: 800 Height: 600 File size: 53kb

The image on the fuselage is the same animal on the tail. I think it's awesome.

True. This is the first pic of a 380 I thought actually looked GOOD, not just okay.

I think the cheatline and black eyeliner really deemphasize the forhead and stubiness of the 388. I imagine it would look even better on a 389.

You may have noticed that Qatar Aw. is an Arabian airline, and as such would not use a Persian symbol.
The company logo represents the Arabian Oryx, an endangered species in Qatar.

32 Bombayhog : Breiz, I believe the post about the "homa" was in reference to the Iran Air livery on the Lila Design website, not the Qatar one.
33 PillowTester : Geez all these A380s with cheatlines look awesome. First time I've liked the A380. The return of the cheatline please!!!
34 LPLAspotter : I like the old one better. The new one's tail has no resemblence to the oryx in the original livery. LPLAspotter

36 MIAMIx707 : By the way, the updated version of the Qatar livery at least looks more interesting. That mostly grey body did nothing to turn heads. The only problem
