Hi all,

Today OS announced their upgraded business class. Firstly they will install it to their B777s. Onboard internet will be available from Connexion by Boeing. The first new business class will be ready in July and until 2007 May all the OS Boeing long-haul aircrafts will get it.

Check it out on Austrian's website

I heard they were putting these on some 738 that fly to DXB to remain competitive with EK.

It doesn't say whether its 180 degree fully flat or a very very slightly inclined (from the pictures) lie-flat seat.

I like the Austrian woman though.

Anyone can fly, only the best Soar.

The seat looks great, although, I would have preferred to have the PTV in the back of the seat so I can watch the airshow at all times and not have to put away the armrest unit as we're landing and taking off.

Between July 2006 and May 2007, we will be replacing the Austrian Business Class service on our Boeing long-haul fleet on a step-by-step basis.

Why are the Airbuses not receiving the cabin upgrade?

I rode in one BKK-VIE last Nov and the C-class cabin looked quite new and not worn at all. I loved the colors they used.
They didn't seem to need an update .
Seats were not lie-flat but still very comfortable. Very similar in shape to the previous SK C-seats but using much nicer colors and materials.
