Yup, replacing their current 2 x 744's and 1 x 763.

The five 789's will allow them to increase frequency as well as grow their route network.

I'm picking PVG and possibly KIX and ICN as new destinations. Possibly SFO and a non-stop to YVR as well.

Good on FJ, that's a brave call. Presumably they've tacked it on to the QF order and leveraged of their major shareholder's deal.

haha Toronto looks a little out of place there... Thats where Winterpeg (I mean Winnipeg) is!
hmm I didn't know that FJ flies to Canberra!! New Zealand is a much bigger country and closer with a bigger airline and even NZ doesn't fly to CBR!

They don't really have any of N.A. right. Dallas, Denver, what does it matter? They don't fly there...  Wink

Please note: the route map is from the FJ website: http://www.airpacific.com/website.nsf/routemap.jpg

And as 777ER mentioned, flights to Canberra are seasonal and no doubt well constituted for a sun thirsty leisure market of public servants, politicians and diplomats.

Actually the CBR flights were not meant to be seasonal. There simply wasn't the demand to support the flights and they were terminated. They may return in the future but it would be unlikely to be near term, there are better options to use the 737's on.
