Good news! What I don't understand are DFW flights... why do you say it will be on till October 07 and from where will they place it back? From MEX, as rumored?
More over, yesterday, QA went to the dessert to see 4 ex. AA Fk. 100 for Click which is highly probable this will be taken instead of ex. JJ's. If they take them, that would increase the fleet to 16 Fk.100 and first delivery will take place by the end of next month and then one every 15 days.

Could we perhaps one day see MX/Click outsourcing its Fokker overhauls to AA, the former operator of the world's largest F100 fleet, to save money, a la Avianca, etc.?

Near to imposible. Its the other way round now. AA is no longer a F100 but they still have spares and some experimented people, in contrast with AV they had no previous record experience with the Fk.100, more over, the big Ocean Air contract that they bought its highly possible it included interior and external fitnes, crew trainning @ DFW and more! MX is been a Fk.100 operator since 1992 and they sure know what they do and have several spare parts for them @ MEX.

The sched shows availability from july06 to october07 for those flight numbers.
They are back from MEX, as rumored, i´ll check later the sched to confirm the times and destinations.

Good news to see MX flying MEX-DFW! For a moment I thought AA was protecting its airport and forbidding MX entrance. As for LXG, yeap along with KXR ex. MX ex. Inter will now become QA. In fact, I think KXR will enter into revenue service next week.

I hope MX starts thinking more about TIJ if the future China Venture is true.
I simply can not understand why new airlines like Volaris are starting new flights from GDL but MX stays only with the "infamous" MX480/481. The other flight MX460/461 which BTW had a more "normal" departure and arrival times for most of us was canceled awhile ago....

As I was reading the first postings I was making the assumption that Mexicana was returning to DFW for a charter contract. After reading the 2X daily schedule, it seems like they will just come and go back without one hour of arrival without any possibility to operate charter flights in the afternoon.
Is this return tied to some kind of retention incentive by DFW? I heard DFW was begging AM and MX to stay early in 2005 as they needed more tenant income for the new Terminal D. If so, what kind of incentive made them return to DFW (a highly satured/monopolized route by AA)?

Because time ago everything was to AM as CINTRA was in charge, so they left TIJ to AM, but when MX leaved TIJ, ZE and all others got the market as AM was unable to compete, now will be very hard to go back, but some plans are developing for that zone.
