Hi everyone!
Does HP/US plan to keep the special livery 757's the same, or are they going to repaint them in the new US colors? Or do they plan on adding the state flags of Pennsylvania and North Carolina to the special livery collection? I think those paint jobs would look good.

The short answer from management is no. They will all be repainted in the new USAirways scheme. If for some reason they decide to do 'theme' planes in the future that may change. But within a year all the special 757's will be gone, and the only different planes will be the four 'heritage' A319's that are already flying.

One smooth landing is skill. Two in a row is luck. Three in a row and someone is lying.

There's nothing stopping them from repainting them with updated special liveries down the line. I'd imagine that the priorities currently (aside from the 319s) are getting the HP fleet congruent to the US fleet in terms of branding. Once that is wrapped up, maybe we'll see something totally new with a flag on the tail...or they'll all look the same. That's half the fun.

Oh come on now! I think the employees and customers have shown enough interest in the special theme planes to keep them around! They are very eye catching, and certainly worth keeping. They honor the states they fly to! If anything, they should expand the theme planes! I favor the Nevada plane actually.
I think US should be proactive in setting a vote for it. Not just on their website, but also for the employees. I think the voices need to be heard.

Quoting PSA727 (Reply 7): Isn't there one with American landmarks on it?
Yeah, N902AW is the "Teamwork Coast To Coast" livery. I have flown on that aircraft a couple of times. The inside needs to be redone but the paint job sure is great! This scheme is a lot better then the old Teamwork plane with the kids on it.

Yeah, no one likes kids anyway.
I think they should keep the schemes but change them to US branding, but repainting the Ohio plane (although it looks great, it is outdated) into North Carolina, and adding planes for other US hubs, like Penn. and maybe D.C.
