I was at MAN today and saw Biman DC-10 taxi from the runway and park up at T2.

Actually, turns out DAC-DXB-BRU-JFK-BRU-DAC is back on, although BG is not selling any BRU-JFK-BRU tickets. This was apparently done to appease FAA which objected to Biman's transfer of transit in Europe from Brussels to Manchester. I had read that Biman was listed by the FAA as a Category II carrier, which gave BG conditional rights to fly to the US, and therefore, changing on approved routes without FAA clearance was not accepted by the FAA. Thus the flights are back to DAC-DXB-BRU-JFK and the BRU stop is more of a technical one. I also think one of the DAC-DXB-LHR flights (BG006) is being extended from LHR to MAN, and returning to DAC nonstop from MAN (DAC-DXB-LHR-MAN-DAC).
