Generally, I don't think Air China has 777s..the only 777s in China are operated by CZ..(China Southern)..They don't have PTVs..food depends on where you fly from...if you are flying domestic, then you're outta luck, the 777s operate from HKG - PEK, SHA - CAN..routes out of HKG are catered by CLS (I think...) the others are by local catering authorities..international routes I'm not so sure...the 777s of CZ are in a 3-4-3 seating config!

Air China has 777s, I flew on one from Beijing to Xian in Central-NW China. Although the seats were comfortable, they did not have PTVs. There was a relatively full meal service for only an hour and a half flight, which wasn't really that good, but it's the thought that counts, isn't it? The service was O.K, and the audio entertainment was good. You also get those cool cameras that show you the entire flight from the wheel-well's point of view. The seating configuration is 2-5-2, if I remember correctly.

Seriously, yes they do. 10 on order, 7 already delivered. ALL are standard -200s. The last three will be delivered in May and June next year.

Many Thanks to Trvir for the info. When I flew on China Southern, they had a beverage service even though this was from HKG to CAN 21 min flight!!! They actully offered the drink when we were on the ground and served it in the air!! Yes, it's the thought that counts!!! Many thanks to Hamlet69 for the correct info.
