This is a go-aroung by a cargolux 747-400 at Zurich back in 1998. Is this the best way to execute a go-aroung. I don't think so. I think the pilot banked the aircraft too low.

It looks like it. Wow! you actualy got the picture. Good.

Perhaps this pilot also flies for the military. They fly quite differently. Their movements are quick and radical.

Well said about the military pilots, they sure fly radicaly but they should realize that they are in a non-radical machine...

An immediate right turn on go around is a recognised procedure to ensure the aircraft that is going around is clear of any traffic on the runway.

For example (hypothetical)

Cargolux B747 on approach, ATC tells him to expect late landing clearance.
Swissair A320 at hold, ATC asks him if ready for immediate departure, Swissair A320 says yes and is cleared to taxi into position for an immediate departure.
On the runway the Swissair is slow in commencing it's takeoff and the controller orders the Cargolux to go around.
If the Cargolux shoots the go around straight ahead they will rapidly overtake the departing Swissair A320, and pass directly overhead at a close distance to each other.

Safer for the Cargolux to bank right, move to the side of the runway and then continue parallel and to the right of the runway to maintain safe separation.

Thanks for the information. Hypothetically you are correct sir but the person (Oliver Stanek) who took this picture quoted "Unexpected Go Around - led to almost crash" and the two persons in the pictures seemed really surprised. I am sure that must have been something wrong with the aircraft or the active runway otherwise the jet would have landed. But the way the Oliver Stanek commented I thought that it was a bad Go-Around. Anyways I may be wrong as I was one present at the moment  . Thanks for your information.
